We are pleased to announce the inaugural San Miguel Forum, a three-day convening of philanthropists, NGO leaders, business executives, and public-sector decision-makers exploring collaborative solutions to addressing today’s most pressing challenges — at scale.
The Forum is structured as an invitation-only, Davos-style, off-the-record event combining philanthropists with implementers and government officials seeking to scale meaningful interventions in six areas critical to Mexico and to the rest of the world.
Designed to move from intention to scale.
Most philanthropy and most NGOs focus on innovation and meeting the needs of specific individuals, institutions and communities. But an increasing number of philanthropists and NGOs also aspire to work in partnership with others to support outcomes that match the scale of the problems they address and that are sustained over time. This year’s San Miguel Forum focuses on how to engage philanthropy, NGOs, business and government in collaborative efforts to meet societal needs at scale.
Our Partners
The Forum has been organized in collaboration with the Centro Mexicano para la Filantropía (CEMEFI), the U.S.-Mexico Border Philanthropy Partnership, Hispanics in Philanthropy, Spring Impact, and the Scaling Community of Practice. The event’s financial co-sponsor is the San Miguel Community Foundation (SMCF), which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. The San Miguel Forum benefits from generous community support provided, in addition to SMCF, by Biblioteca Pública, and Instituto Allende.
